Description
Established in 1997, the four-year scholarship is administered by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and provides financial assistance each year to male and female high school graduates demonstrating academic and personal excellence, as well as leadership qualities that promote alcohol and drug-free lifestyles.

Geographic Criteria: Michigan
Criteria / Requirements: Graduating high school senior who is a Kalamazoo County resident or attends a Kalamazoo County high school; planning to enroll full time in an accredited college or university to earn a two- or four-year degree. The applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum 1060 SAT or minimum 21 ACT score. Must be able to demonstrate leadership and involvement in school and community activities that advocate abstinence from drug and alcohol use and promote a healthy lifestyle.
