Description
Children or grandchildren of a Seabee or Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) officer are encouraged to apply to the SMSA Scholarships. Scholarships are awarded base on financial need, academics, student involvement and an essay. Awards are made for two-year, four-year and Career and Technical Education programs.

Criteria / Requirements:
- Applicants must be the child or grandchild of Seabees or Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) officers.
- Seabees are enlisted personnel with a Seabee rating, CEC officers, or others who have served or are serving in a Naval Construction Force Unit. This includes members of other service branches assigned to a Seabee unit. Active duty, reserve, retired and honorably discharged Seabee children and grandchildren are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must currently be a senior in high school or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Scholarship Deadline is April 15th, 2021. Applications will be available online here on January 2, 2021
