The Democrats for Life of America (DFLA) Scholarship Essay Contest, applicants must submit a 500-word to 800-word essay based on the year’s prompt. Party affiliation, gender and personal politics are immaterial. Each essay is scored based on content and strength of argument vice a participant’s personal position.
